Managed church websites | Church Comms Dashboard included | WordPress care
Church Website Design, Hosting & Care
Affordable managed WordPress websites for churches that need a clearer digital front door, simpler next steps, giving and forms connected, Church Comms Dashboard included, and dependable care after launch.
Your church should not have to choose between an expensive proprietary platform and a website no one has time to maintain. 5ox Creative builds, hosts, and cares for clear WordPress websites for churches, with practical workflow support available when it fits the scope.
The lower tiers are moving toward a simpler self-serve path. Larger and custom church websites still begin with a conversation so the scope, staffing realities, and support level stay honest.
What you are buying
A clear church website with the common paths already thought through.
The goal is not a mysterious custom project. It is a useful WordPress site your church can trust: a homepage that explains the church clearly, visit and giving paths that are easy to find, forms that route requests, and care that keeps the platform from becoming one more fragile system.
Home, visit, give, contact, ministries, sermons/events, and next steps shaped around real church questions.
Gravity Forms and giving-provider links or embeds are placed where people naturally need them.
Hosting, updates, backups, light support, and the matched Church Comms Dashboard level are part of the plan. Every Dashboard level includes the Church Comms Tools seasonal kits, so Advent, Lent, and Easter communications come with the site.
Choose the right door
Not every church needs the same next step.
Start with the plan if your church fits Foundation or Growing. Start with a clarity review if the scope, content, or support level is still fuzzy.
Small church ready to start
Use the guided setup form for Foundation or Growing when the site size and support needs are already clear enough.
Larger church or fuzzy scope
Use the clarity review path if content, staffing, design scope, or support needs should be sorted out first.
Only need hosting or care
For approved WordPress sites that need a safer technical home, start with the hosting/care path.
Need ongoing content help
If your team needs help managing updates, newsletters, campaigns, or content rhythms, talk through Concierge support.
The problem
Most church websites struggle because the communication system around the site is unclear.
A better church website should do more than look polished. It should help guests understand what to do next, help members find what matters, and help staff or volunteers keep the site from becoming one more neglected system.
But many churches are stuck between two bad options: a DIY builder that still leaves volunteers doing too much, or an expensive proprietary platform that is hard to leave.
These plans give churches a better path: a clear WordPress website, built with care, hosted on our servers, and maintained by people who understand church communication.

Simple pricing by church size
Choose by church size, staff capacity, and how much help you need after launch.

- Strategic Church Site: usually $5,500-$8,500 setup and around $249/mo care.

Scope clarity
What counts as a custom landing page?
The page counts above refer to custom landing pages, not the total number of pages your site can have.
A custom landing page is a major section of the website that needs individual layout, messaging, and design attention. Examples include Home, About, Visit, Kids, Students, Worship, Sermons, Give, Events, Serve, and Contact.
Basic informational sub-pages can be added using simpler established layouts. Examples include staff bios, beliefs, ministry details, policies, FAQs, facility use information, volunteer descriptions, or other supporting pages.
This keeps the design work properly scoped while still allowing your church website to include the information people actually need.
Giving integration
Online giving integration included.
Your website should make giving easy to find and simple to use. Each plan includes online giving integration, whether your church already uses Realm, Tithely, Planning Center Giving, Pushpay, Subsplash, Givebutter, Stripe, or another provider.
5ox Creative does not need to replace your giving platform. We help connect your website to the giving system your church already uses, make the giving path clear, and test the experience on desktop and mobile.
If your church does not yet have an online giving provider, we can help you think through practical options and connect the giving page once your provider is selected.
Workflow support
Church Comms Dashboard can support the work after launch.
Church Comms Dashboard is included at a level matched to the church’s staff capacity, site activity, and communication workflow: Essentials, Team, Pro, or a tailored Custom package.
The Dashboard gives requests, content notes, announcements, ministry updates, and workflow decisions somewhere organized to land after launch. The goal is simple: your website should not just look better on launch day. It should become easier to keep current.
Each Dashboard level includes practical allowances for storage and AI usage. Additional storage, AI credits, onboarding, and support can be added when a church needs more capacity. Nothing here promises unlimited storage or unlimited AI.
Church Comms Tools seasonal kits are included with every Dashboard subscription. The Advent and Christmas kit is first, with Lent and Easter to follow.
- Collect communication requests in one calmer place.
- Track announcements, content notes, and website-update needs.
- Keep website updates from living forever in text threads.
- Help staff and volunteers know what needs a reply.
Church Comms Dashboard supports the website workflow. It does not replace your church management system, giving provider, or pastoral judgment.
Concierge add-on
Need help managing the content too?
Managed care keeps the platform healthy. Concierge support helps with the content and communications work your team does not have capacity to manage.
If your team needs help creating content, keeping announcements current, planning newsletters, coordinating campaigns, or managing communications rhythms, that belongs in a separate Concierge service rather than the base monthly hosting/care plan.
Starter Church Concierge
Focused communications support for smaller churches: templates, light coordination, workflow guidance, and practical next steps.
Growing Church Concierge
Deeper help for churches with a busier ministry calendar: website/newsletter/social coordination, campaign setup support, content planning, and reporting.
Established Church Concierge
Expanded communications support for churches with more staff roles and recurring communication needs, including landing pages, campaign coordination, follow-up workflows, and reporting.
Multi-Site & Network Communications Support
For networks, multi-site churches, dioceses, or associations that need a custom support and communication structure.
Concierge retainers are separate from website hosting and care. Content creation, content entry, newsletter work, campaign execution, and ongoing communications management are not included in the base website care fee unless they are written into a separate agreement.
Why WordPress?
Flexibility, ownership, and room to grow.
WordPress gives churches flexibility, ownership, and room to grow. Your church is not locked into a closed proprietary website builder, and your content can move with you if your needs change later.
5ox Creative uses WordPress because it is flexible, widely supported, and strong enough for simple church websites as well as more complex ministry communication systems.
Referral partners
Know a church that needs this kind of help?
5ox Creative works with approved referral partners who introduce churches to these website design, hosting, and care packages. Approved partners may be eligible for a 20% referral commission on attributed eligible monthly care/platform plans and eligible launch/build fees.
Partner approval is required, 5ox makes final attribution decisions, and partners should disclose referral relationships when recommending 5ox Creative. Partners cannot promise pricing, timelines, features, custom work, or acceptance into a plan.
Questions churches ask
Frequently asked questions.
Is this a custom website or a template?
Each site is built from proven church website patterns and customized for your church’s identity, content, and ministry needs. These plans are not unlimited custom agency projects, but they are also not generic DIY templates.
What does the setup fee cover?
The setup fee covers the initial website planning, design, setup, page building, forms, giving integration, launch support, training, and any Church Comms Dashboard setup included in the agreed scope.
What does the monthly care fee cover?
The monthly care fee covers hosting, SSL/security basics, backups, WordPress/plugin/theme updates, any included Church Comms Dashboard access, and light technical support. It does not include content creation, ongoing content entry, unlimited content updates, or major redesign work.
Do we own our content?
Yes. Your content belongs to your church. The site is built on WordPress so you are not locked into a closed proprietary website builder.
Can we keep our current giving provider?
Yes. Most churches should keep their current giving provider if it is working. We can connect your website to Realm, Tithely, Planning Center Giving, Pushpay, Subsplash, Givebutter, Stripe, or another provider.
Does 5ox Creative process donations?
No. 5ox Creative does not process donations directly as part of these plans. We integrate your website with your church’s giving provider.
What if we do not have online giving yet?
We can help you think through options and connect the site once your church selects a giving provider.
What counts as a custom landing page?
A custom landing page is a major section of the site that needs individual layout and design attention, such as Home, About, Visit, Kids, Students, Worship, Give, Serve, Events, or Contact.
Can we have more informational pages?
Yes. Basic informational sub-pages can be added using established layouts as needed within reason. Large content libraries, unusual layouts, or complex migrations may require additional scope.
Can we add more custom landing pages?
Yes. Additional custom landing pages can be quoted separately.
Can you manage our content for us?
Yes, but that is part of a separate concierge retainer, not the base website care fee. Concierge can include content creation, announcements, events, newsletters, campaign support, and ministry page updates.
Does the care plan include content creation?
No. The care plan keeps the platform cared for. Content creation, content entry, newsletter help, and ongoing communications management belong in a concierge package or separate written scope.
What if our church is between tiers?
Choose the tier that best reflects your site size, staff capacity, and support needs, then start a conversation. We can help confirm the right fit.
Is there a contract?
Hosted website plans are generally built around a 12-month minimum because the launch cost is intentionally affordable and tied to ongoing care. We can talk through the practical details before anything is finalized.
Can we move the site later?
Because the site is built on WordPress, the content is portable in a way closed proprietary platforms often are not. Any future migration would need to be planned and handled carefully, but the goal is not to trap churches.
What is Church Comms Dashboard?
Church Comms Dashboard is a 5ox Creative product designed to help churches organize communication requests, updates, announcements, and content workflows.
Are the Church Comms Tools kits included?
Yes. Every Church Comms Dashboard level includes the seasonal communication kits from Church Comms Tools. The kits are also sold on their own for churches that are not ready for a website or a Dashboard subscription.
A few helpful boundaries
Clear scope keeps the work healthy.
- Pricing assumes reasonable scope for each tier.
- Large content migrations may require additional scope.
- Copywriting beyond basic cleanup may require additional scope.
- Custom integrations may require additional scope.
- Monthly care is hosting and technical/platform care, not content creation or unlimited content management.
- Communications management add-ons are available separately.
- Online giving integration depends on the church’s chosen provider and available embed/link options.
